Revel in the spectacular Fall foliage of the Hudson Valley at the 3rd annual Gobble & Groove! Celebrate the beautiful turkeys who call Catskill home as we honor them with a special feeding of their favorite treats (the pigs get some too!).

Enjoy an autumn feast with sweet and savory treats by The Cinnamon Snail, Yeah Dawg, Rockin' Raw, and Healthy Gourmet To-Go, as you jam to live fiddle music from The Bad Cats and newgrass from Stranger at Home.

There’s fun for the whole family!
Bond with rescued turkeys, pigs, goats, horses, cows, and more!
-Feed pumpkins to the pigs
-Decorate a pumpkin for Halloween
-Shop the mini vegan marketplace
-Get some serenity with outside yoga
-Learn new recipes and try free samples at food demos
-Score cool prizes at the raffle

Don’t miss our special guest speaker, best-selling author Gene Stone who has written or co-authored 45 books, including Eat for the Planet, The How Not to Die Cookbook, Mercy for Animals, Living the Farm Sanctuary Life, My Beef with Meat, Forks over Knives: The Plant Based Way to Health, The Secrets of People Who Never Get Sick, and The Engine 2 Diet.

The celebration will go on rain or shine!


No car? No problem! Take our chartered bus from Manhattan in the morning and leave the Sanctuary in the late afternoon for the trip back.
You must purchase an admission ticket and a bus ticket in advance before Saturday, October 20. The bus captain will have a list of pre-paid passengers.
Please note that there is no bathroom on the bus.

8:45am Meet bus in front of Staples at 769 Broadway (between East 8th and 9th Streets in downtown Manhattan)
9:00am Bus departs for Catskill Animal Sanctuary (don’t be late as we can’t wait for anyone!)
11:00am Arrive at Catskill Animal Sanctuary
4:00pm Depart Catskill Animal Sanctuary for NYC

Franklin Day Festival 2018

The annual Franklin Day Festival is an outdoor community-wide celebration organized by the Franklin Day Festival Committee. The event features live entertainment, an art show, a classic car show, over 150 exhibitor tables with a wide range of artisans, businesses, service providers, community organizations as well as a host of FREE attractions for children. The purpose of the Franklin Day Festival is to bring the community together while providing a showcase for Township businesses, industries, agencies, schools, community organizations and the amazing diversity that Franklin Township has to offer. In 2017, the festival attracted a whopping 20,000 residents and attendees from neighboring Somerset and Middlesex County communities! It was also nominated for the 2017 Somerset County Salute to Tourism Award.

The second annual New Jersey VegFest will be held on October 7 & 8, 2017 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center with amazing food, speakers, Veg Speed Date and this year we will have a beer garden featuring The Alementary, Bolero Snort Brewery and Cypress Brewing Company!

We are also hosting a series of vegan pop-up shops in Morristown in April, June and July and in Asbury Park in July and August. Get ready for a great summer!

NEPA Vegfest is an all ages event based on promoting health and wellness in our community. This event will include craft vendors, plant based food, speakers, plant based cooking demos, music, yoga and children’s activities all based on promoting wellness within the area. The scheduled date for this event is September 16, 2017 and will run from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the round pavilion and surrounding area within Nay Aug Park. A portion of the proceeds will benefit two of our area non-profits, The Farmhouse Sanctuary and The Green House Project! All are welcome!

The Asbury Park Holiday Bazaar will take place every Saturday & Sunday, November 26th - December 18th 2016, from noon to 5 pm, in the Grand Arcade of Convention Hall.
